Hi Reader, I started lifting weights a little over a year ago to get stronger and strengthen my bones. I realized that I wasn't getting enough protein, so I've really been trying to up my protein intake. I try not to eat a lot of dairy, and I'm not a big fan of cottage cheese (which isn't too popular these days!), but thankfully there are plenty of other great protein sources that I love. If you struggle to stay full between lunch and dinner, I have plenty of high-protein lunch options that...

Hi Reader, I hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July! 🇺🇸 Our friends threw a wonderful party, so we celebrated there. The weather was a bit wild as there was thunder, lightning and rain, but luckily it didn't spoil the fun. And the view of the orchards was beautiful as you can see above. :) I'm so excited that rhubarb season is here, and I've been buying up all the gorgeous red stalks that I can get my hands on. I made my strawberry rhubarb crisp for our weekly Sunday dinner with our kids...

There are too many great options. For me, the side dishes steal the show.
